NASCAR isn't the only orginization doing it. WoO, USAC, lots of dirt LM divisions (assume all World Racing Group?)...thought F-1 did have something going on this too?

I saw one almost done at Hartford almost 10 years ago but the promotor didn't want to. Unfortunate. ---------- Post added at 09:12 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:09 AM ---------- For once we agree. Lapped cars make the races better for fans, and fair for the drivers. If the leader just passed two cars with a great move at one end of the track, and put two lapped cars inbetween him and 2nd place, he should be awarded those two cars to stay between him and 2nd place, as he passed them, and the 2nd place car did not. How is that even an argument? This is a stupid rule, that just is inline with the rest of the dumbass things USAC has done over the last 10 years. |

If it don't work out USAC can always change it back....Either way we'll be there supporting our local drivers. Improving the product should always be open for discussion.

THANK YOU FOR POINTING THAT OUT!!!!! Thats better, but still don't like the fact that cars from the B will start infront of cars that transfer from there heat. Make every race count! If I misinturpret you straighten me out.

Well there you go Mr Nick...... I`m a newby to this sport and my opinion should be taken as irrelevent. I meant maybe the guy who started 12th had fought to pass 10 quality U.S.A.C competitors and finally had the leader in sight . I didn`t comprehend much of your name dropping rant . Were you taking the "FANS RULE" perspective or I`m an owner / driver who would hate it if they took the jam cars from in between me and an inevitable last lap slide job point of view ? Since I can`t afford to enjoy U.S.A.C. competition as a fan or otherwise , the rule will not effect me . I just wanted a hand shake but if I`m gonna get fed I`ll send some more misunderstood sarcasm your way. |

For all the talk about USAC putting lappers to the end of the line at the end of their races, here's at least one series that's putting them to the rear after every yellow:
