I am glad that the track is going to be under Seargent's care.

Too bad the fans had to suffer the lost season that we did.

Any chance USAC comes back in 2008?

I still think they should all be back to back nights at the same track, so let THAT back in it with 2 shows!! Less travel to race another night, fans get to camp out or drive their house in ( i dont call that camping) and have a great time with all instead of packing up and moving on to the next track. Am I the only one? Areo needs to stay in one place most of the time for at least 12 hrs after the race (my professional opinion). LOL

There were probably deadlines and timetables set by the court system that prevented action being taken any earlier. Legal action, etc. It's not always as easy as Donald ***** saying "You're Fired."

Bill was probably a little concerned about the discussion degenerating into libel and slander. Then, it's Bill at financial risk and none of those making the comments. It's gotten pretty dicy on here before when people have posted about THAT. When I was a newspaper editor, if some of them had been letters to the editors (basically the same thing as a post) they would have never left my desk. Freedom of the press belongs to those who own it. So does the responsibility.

Looking forward to THAT. Saw my first sprint race there in 1973, on a poorly prepared track for that year's Hulman Classic. A real rut fest. Saw a lot of great races there after that.

I'm actually not that big on Terre Haute being included in Sprintweek, but I really hope to see returns of the Sumar Classic, Hut Hundred, Hulman Classic, and the fall race. Sprintweek would really look a lot better with Vernon and Putnamville added to the list, though!!

Jerry

I hope this info is right.

I wasn't able to get the message to play, but if it is really true that Allison is gone, that is certainly a positive.

You know that you can't say that without giving us some insight into why. I love having a big track mixed in there, but I know your superior intellect has thought this well out. So let me be enlightened into why your not big on Terre Haute and Sprintweek.
