Don't you think it might appear just a wee bit hypocritical to chastise us as "close minded lemmings" while at the same time mocking JM for being different? Rhetorical question. I'm sure you see no hypocrisy in that whatsoever.
This will be my last post on this thread, so feel free to have the last word. I suspect you're determined to have it anyway.
Just another person who gets blinded by facts.

Have a nice day!

P.S. I'm still waiting for the phone to ring...

C'mon guys we're talking to the legendary "crewman of the year" from 2003, PAT GRANT!!! All must bow while typing.....
Johnny is a racer, and a nice guy, thats all that matters.
Who the hell is Pat Grant, anyway???

Only comment I have is from the "cage" forward kinda looked like maybe Tommy Hinnershitz might've drove something similar.

Okay, you guys are right, I give! The Murdock machine is an engineering marvel that will go down as the greatest machine to ever run a "J" Main. I am glad that the 360 days and money put into the car paid off for him.

Form and function are sometimes strange bedfellows, although I'm not sure Johnny's ride has much of either. He did run better than I've seen him run in the past, however, so I guess I have to give him that.

Mr. Grant, as impressive as your resume is , believe it or not, we DO have something in common. Both of us have "ZERO WINS" in a sprint car OR midget.....:2:

Fellas.... Racers are in this sport for many different reasons . Some feel unsuccessful if they don`t win every time they go to the track. Some rate a successful night just making the feature and loading up on all four wheels. Others get the satisfaction of taking something they have welded every joint , tightened every bolt , packed every bearing .......etc. and just participating in a race. I`m not a proponent of re-inventing the wheel but I will always look at someones deviation from the norm for their better idea. Sometimes it`s a "What the hell was he thinking? " or " How come I didn`t think of that?" reaction. I hope he accomplished his goal and had fun . Maybe his main goal was to market his new found notoriety among you fellas here and on other message boards. The marketing factor of message boards seems to be working for some.

Hawker Quote....
An insult is an insult, some are personal, some are insults to one's work, which when a person puts time and effort into something, only to be insulted, then it turns personal.

The name calling is no different than your slam on your opinion of my site, you wanted to take it in that direction, so live with it. If you didn't like it, fine, but you don't have to be a dick.
