The real deal Rick Ziehl won the first night of the McClusky classic in Tucson followed by Johnny Herrera, Charles Davis Jr. and Dave Darland. Darland got caught up in an early crash and had to pit to change a tire, when he came back out he was a half a lap behind when the green flag dropped. Darland stayed on the bottom of the track to track down the leaders but ran out of laps and ended up in fourth. Ziehl started 8th and passed Herrera on the 11th lap and never was challenged, Davis started 12th but never could get around Herrera. Temp at start of race around 70 but when the sun went down it cooled down to around 55 - 60

Yep!!...D.D.had good runs both nites,but not sure he would've had anything on bottom for Ziehl'....as he pulled out a lead on every green flag start!!....no matter who was up there with him!!....Nice seats up in the VIP booth!!...for the price diff....I thot it was great....shorts/t-shirt everyone else,jackets/sweatshirts!!.....KM!!...nice job keepin the show rollin!!....outa there on Sat at 7:50....Sun at 7:30!!....Needed the vol. up on PA in VIP booth on Sun tho!!...Also made Feb resv at Courtyard A/P $59.00 b4 tax!!....
