My question is ,,,,..... whats Mr. Jack Roush think of his driver now?.. The way that kid acted, you woulda thought sammy right reared him during the slide job. If so, then I could see that kind of reaction, BUT to act like that when it was probably more Ricky's fault than anything is just rediculous. Ive seen drivers lose deals/contracts other drivers would die for over a lot smaller issues.

No doubt the antics were ridiculous. Stenhouse should be ashamed.
I'm still unsure how the crash was Stenhouse's fault? He backed off to let Swindell slide in front of him, and then crossed over. He allowed room on the outside for Swindell, who visibly came down off the wall to make contact with him. Watching the few laps before leads me to believe that Swindell had no problem controlling his car. It was a calculated move on his part, obviously, to attempt to "block" the upcoming slider going into turn one. Unfortunately, Stenhouse was there and the contact resulted in damage to Stenhouse's car. That all is pretty obvious to me.

I agree with that. Swindell has been around a long time, he knew he lost momentum on that slider, which would obviously put Ricky beside him. Sammy knew he was going to be there before he threw the slider more than likely. Any real racer, (that knows how to throw a slider) knows that the other guy will have more momentum coming off the corner and more than likely will try to throw one back the next corner. Looked like to me Sammy stayed off the wall slightly to make it difficult for Ricky to set him back up. But the contact wasn't all sammy's fault. Racing deal, Ricky over exagerated afterwards.

i was there that night it was a hell of arace all over the track
wo what a night sammy and rickey ;jeff and terry and also
hood and other's give me that every sat night. just like old day's
great raceing.. to me it was raceing at it best. the most stupied
part was when rickey hit sammy wing // he could of lost a arm or ahand on that deal . bobby voss lost a arm over a wing one time
and then sammy had to make a bad statement in victory lane.
a great race but a sad ending.

I can't stand Sammy, but, it was a racing deal. Ricky hitting Sammy's wing after the interveiw and then running like a coward is stupid. After things were getting broke up Ricky came back to take a shot or two. I'm glad he got a Roush deal. Maybe after this he will keep running taxicabs and not "grace" another short track with his presence.

This is the funnest thing I have ever read. Have you ever seen Steve and Sammy race together? I was at Kokomo the night they gave each other about ten slide jobs each and Sammy won the race, guess who the first one was to congradulate him. Yep it was Steve. This was when they didnt run wings at the small tracks. And I have seen Jack do the same. The difference is these guys get it. They do it and have had it happen to them, like it or not it is part of racing. Do you people Really think Sammy would take a chance at taking himself out when it was obvious that he had the faster car? If there is one thing we can agree on is that he LOVES to win races. Still cracking up!!!!!!!!!!!Wouldnt do it to the King
