Swindell did a dirty slide job, making Ricky lift so he didn't run him over, then it looks like he chopped at his front end..jmo

Couldn't believe that was the ditch. When I was there it didn't begin to slick off like that. Slicked off from top to bottom, yuk.

Looked ok to me. He easily cleared him on the slide job, and just came off the wall a little bit coming down the straightaway when the car started to wing over. Try driving one sometime, they really like to go left!

The nickname "Slammin Sammy" ring a bell?
He earned that name, and not by "accidents"!

Looked like elbows up, hard racing to me. Good or bad slide jobs are part of the game. I've seen several done by both drivers. Thanks for posting it. Good stuff.
I was suprised that there was passing at all at a wing show. You don't see that to often anymore.

The slider was clean but....

You move off the wall like that NOT because the car was pulling hard left, but because you know the car you just slid is crossing over and coming under you.

Sammy came down the front straight the previous 2 laps and stayed right on the fence..he moved left to block that time.

Stenhouse was visible beside him early in the straight, then just when Sammys momentum carried him a little ahead he chopped him, plain and simple.

i doubt if he "Intentionally" knocked Rickys front end out but he "Intentionally" chopped down on him.

And yes, they are hard to drive...I know because I have done it about 35 times (a few of which were successful, haha)...but they don't tend to jerk left in the middle of the straightaway...when they wing over they drive off the left rear which makes the car want to pull to the right.

Good hard racing. The faster and better driver won.
