I do think there are a lot of loyal fans, drivers that will support this series. I know I will.

I think this is a great step for usac............and for the guy who said bring the big teams there, are there going to be any well funded teams left next year in usac. All four of the biggest wallet teams that i know have either already sold or are selling there usac equipment for better business propositions

I will be there. Finally a place to run a VW midget besides indoors.
Our car may smell like moth balls for the first couple of shows.

I think the usac cars are the best show in town and the speedrome has it's problems, but they are trying to give the fans a reason to be there. Race on and lets all give them some support. I have a son racing here and we are looking to move up. This could be someones golden opportunity. So go support your driver and give it a chance.

Here is what I mean about something behind this.... speedrome fans have long since forgotten about midgets. There have only been a handful of decent races there in the last 4 or 5 years. Someone is going to have to put some major PR behind this thing and figure out how to draw 18-20 cars a night. Other wise it will be a big looser and the midgets will disappear again. Heck the speedrome itself has lost at least half of its weekly fan and driver base in the same short time. This thing is going to take more than just an internet press release to drawl some people in to make it work.:30:

Are you the guy downtown with the sandwich board on that says "THE END OF THE WORLD IS NEAR"? You should change your handle from 767 to Mr. Negative. Does anything make you happy?

So, just how does this impact Don Kenyon and his deal? Has he been thrown under the bus after trying to keep the regional racing series alive for the last four or five years after the Speedrome sent USAC packing?
