Can someone point me in the direction of the "Rules" for the Chili Bowl?
I'm particularly interested in the engine rules. |

Carnac's envelope also has the Chili Bowl purse inside. If you magnify the pic, you can see the outline of the pennies........

Unless this year's rules change, you're going to find out that the engine rules are wide open. Typically there are traditional midget engines from the usual builders, older V4s, a VW based engine or two, outboard boat engines (no kidding), several V6 engines, no displacement rules (200 cu. in. engines are not uncommon), and lots of one off engines that are not raced anywhere but the Chili Bowl. Really the only rule I remember from our recent participation is that a muffler is required. As small as the track is, and with the weight disadvantage created by additional cylinders, a good running traditional midget engine is at little or no disadvantage to the "creative" engines that participate. See you there!

I wonder if anyone will be entering one of the new ASCS EcoTec powered machines?

As far as I know 2 Kiwi drivers, in two Kiwi chassis with two V8 Kiwi engines will be attempting to run the Chili Bowl this year!

Planning on running at the Chili Bowl?
Think it might be cold? The Engine Heater plugs into any 110 volt outlet. Your engine will thank you. |
