Daily ticket price for DTWC

Dave, What is the cost to get in if you go and purchase a one day ticket, say Thursday and one Saturday.

Not sure about this year, but in the past there were no one day tickets. One ticket for all 3 nights.

As per the DTWC web site it shows no single day sales If you want more info, you can contact Carl Short which is the promoter for this race at.

I called them and found out that the only single day ticket available is for Saturday. If you come Thursday or Friday and want to skip Saturday, you have to still buy a 3 day $50 ticket. Pit pass $60.

If you want to come Saturday only...

$40. Gen. Adm.
$50. Pit Pass

This is not about tickets, but read this on a latemodel web site about the DTWC and it made me chuckle. Maybe we can convert more fans to sprints. It starts with a question, then three replies. I like the last reply.

This isnt Late Model related but im sure it would get more responses here than the Sprint board, but how many of the midget sprints do you guys expect to be there Thursday. Do they usually have good turn outs for just a regular show. Going to be making the trip early Thursday and sadly ive never seen these cars race. Thanks

I'd say they'll have around 50 Non-Winged Sprints.

Should a great car count figuring that Kokomo is sandwiched in on Friday night too.

They are not Midget sprints, they are REAL 410 sprints with no wings, and they are freaking IDIOTS and drive the hell out of those cars EVERY lap.
You have to see these guys in action and it will give you a WHOLE new Respect for that sport.

if you bought advanced tickets for 40 bucks for 3 days thats $13.33 per night. now thats a hell of a deal in my book. all the cars and stars in all the divisions is well worth a lot more.

Interesting. I know from working on both sprint and LM and even a bomber or three teams that.
1. LM fans and drivers like SPRINT CARS (Some more than others)
2. A lot of Sprint fans could care less about the fenders. However there are REAL RACE FANS

Chuck, who likes both and both can put on a HELL OF A SHOW.

I went to the DTWC at KC in 2007. 117 late models, I missed the mods on the Thursday. Well worth going. Friday had (6) 18 car heats and (3) C-mains

Saturday was (3) 24 car B-mains and the A-main.

I'm getting married the week after, so I can't go. But I am going to Ventura at the end of the month for VRA Sprints!
