The Checkerd Flag Sprint Series (CFSS) is run by former TBARA President Don Rehm. This past year they had a race i think like the end of February. But none of the series here in Fl. usually have a schedule out till like the begining or middle of February.
Here are the links for the Three Fl. series.

Pete, you are going to have to get a pavement car or sprout a wing on the dirt car.
We hope to go to florida and race pavement with and without wings this winter. Trying to escape the balmy Indiana winter.
Pete, I know of a nice pavement car that is wing and wingless ready to race, if you are interested; get in touch with me or Clint.

Hi Mark,
We are considering a Pavement Sprinter. Nothing firm yet. Can you PM me the information you have? Thanks.

Looks like bunches of both. East Bay (www.eastbayracewaypark.com) has UMP/EBRP mods for 5 days, Lucas Oil LMs for 6 days and UMP late models, crate LMs & other stuff. Volusia (www.volusiaspeedwaypark.net) has DIRT LMs & UMP mods, AND big-block modifieds. Last time I was at Volusia there were over 70 mods. Check out the web sites. Also, I signed up for some email programs to get notification of schedules when they become available, and I will share any information I get.
Thanks so much to everyone who has added information so far. Please keep it coming whenever you learn something. I would also appreciate finding out where in the Tampa/Plant City area has the cheapest strawberries. Packing the van has become much more expensive the last couple of years.
