A horrible crash in the front stretch, ripped a big hole in the fence right by the flag stand. At least one of the drivers left in an ambulance.

Lifeflight has came to transport him. His name is Travis Rutz. He and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Wow very sorry to hear. Rutz is a regular at Skagit and other tracks in the Pacific Northwest. I was surprised to see his name at Eldora on Fri. Thoughts and prayers to him and his family.

He came east to race in the Canadian Sprint car Nationals and was pretty much racing his way back west.

He will be in my thoughts.

I am keeping him and his family, along with the other racers involved in my prayers. Thank God Terre Haute is not far from Indy with some of the best racing dr's around!
