Just south of the track on Hwy 41 about 3-4 miles is Stoll's Country Inn. It is an Amish buffet, they usually have fried chicken, homemade Amish noodles, desserts and whatnot. They are a pretty good sponsor of the track also.

Haub's is very good, but can be pricey. They might have early bird specials though.

Sandy's Pizza is another good track sponsor, I'm not sure what time they open on Saturdays but they have great pizza, strombolis and a salad bar.

Also there are about 500 restaurants on Green River Road in E'ville. About anything you want is there.

In Evansville, at the corner of the Lloyd expressway and Burkhardt Rd is an Italian restaurant called Biagi's. We eat there whenever we can get down to Evansville.

In the same general area, on Green River Road between the expressway and Morgan, there is a darn good Greek restaurant called the Acropolis (aren't most of them called that?).

Too bad it wasn't on a Friday. The Baja Fish Tacos at Taco Tierra on Green River Road are great. But, they only serve them on Fridays.

IMO, the "Class Track" has the best track food. Their french fries are awesome and double-cheeseburgers are hard to beat. :2:

miledirt,

The Haub Steak House has several early bird specials for $13.95. They open at 4:00PM. I don't believe anyone has mentioned The Log Inn yet. They have family style dining. Open at 4:00PM. They don't take credit cards. It is located east of US41 on Warrenton Road (about one mile). Turn left at the Flying J/Pilot truck stops.
