Actually the amount of mud didn't make it much more difficult to score. You could still see their tail tank numbers fine when they were crossing in front of you at the start/finish line. Although it did make it very difficult on the track workers as they were trying to reposition cars under caution.

It didnt make the racing any better thats for sure. I dont know how many guys i talked to that said they simply slowed down cuz they couldnt see or they ran out of tear offs. That is just simply dangerous to have that many cars on a surface that does that.
