must have been chaos. Good finish for Ballou. was mixing up M westfall with Matt goodnight. a 7th for him would have been a strange occurence.

Should shake up the points alot.

Yet there were several cautions and a couple of them were very lengthy

With 9 yellows and a very slow tow truck, it was at least two laps aroung the track before the tow truck got to the down car also took a long time to hook up the car. I was waiting for a red for fuel. Just amazing more didn't run out of fuel.

Very well said ... fuel mileage is tough, and usually I like to think you error on the side of being prepared, but sometimes those darn yellows can certainly make even the best preparations go bad! Really hate to see it, but it happens, even to the best ...

We ran out of fuel leading on the 29th lap. Besides us Chase Stockton, Levi,Tracy, Chad Boat, Scotty Weir and I don't know who else ran out. We click the stop watch when the car is shoved off for the feature and we ran out 52 minutes later!

What really set me off was that the TSR guys and us among others begged for a red at 45 minutes during the lengthy yellow for Damion but the USAC brain trust were more concerned with finishing the race than making for a good show. Also with Levi's right rear tire going flat they allowed him to pass the pace car and buzz his tires but it did not get the pressure up. They then put him back in the lead and caused a very dangerous restart with 4 to go.

I am very upset to say the least so I will sleep on this before posting more.
