Otto Sitterly wins, Davey was going for second on the last lap when him and Doug Didero got together taking out Davey,Your top three where Otto, Doug, and Ray Graham. Bobby was in the top 10, most of the day until he pulled off not really sure why. Doug Didero set a new track record in qualifying of 16.212. As far as I know Robbie was alright just took him to the hospital as a precaution.

The Oswego Speedway Safety Crew deserves a big Kudos, they saved a life on Saturday night. Mike Bond won the smal block supermodified race Saturday night, during the victory lane celebration Mike's father-in-law collapsed. Don had suffered a heart attack ten years ago and is very fortunate that this latest incident happend where it did. Don faces a long road to recovery but thanfully has that chance thanks to the Oswego Speedway Safety Crew. As hard as it may be for some to believe I didn't attend this years classic, I baby sat my grandson instead, normally his nap schedule would have allowed us the chance to see the last 100 laps however that didn't happend. Friday nights winged show is the only part of Classic Weekend I got to, as stated above to the best of my knowledge Rob Summers is okay. Steve Gioia III was taken to the Oswego Hospital on Sunday, 12 laps into the Classic he spun and was t-boned by Jeffrey Abold. Jeffrey had no way to avoid the crash. Rumors were flying around the pits that Steve had broken both legs. His grandmother told me after the race that he had no broken bones but they were still running test on him at the time. Patti |

sorry to here about mike bonds father in law. i pray for don's speedy recovery and comes back a 100%. we should all be extremely proud of the men and women that participate weekly at the track. the oswego safety crew is one of the very best in all of auto racing.job well done. i'm glad your pleased with the new tee's,wear it well. i gave scotty martell a bunch to bring up to the races. i hope he sold them all. also, i'm glad to see a canajoharie n.y. boy win the classic. i have spent many years racing with david lape all over upstate n.y. if you remember back otto used to race at fonda speedway, before switching to supers. it's funny that you mentioned that you didnt see the santos family. bob and ellen were helping erica friday and sat. nite nema racing, when they got the call from III. so they drove up to the track to help him out with the super. now thats a real racing family !!
