Sorry to see that half of the top ten in USAC points, might not be at the Burg. Can't believe Dave Rudisell is real happy about this non-points deal?? Even a USAC homer like me is having trouble putting a good spin on this,:2: Seems like you would wanna give points to those who support you and take away from them that don't??

Dave found a way to give USAC a EVENT, Now the trick is finding a date that doesn't conflict. The format is there. THe $$ is there and I pretty much guarantee you there will be 25 quality sprinters starting the show.

In respect to its teams USAC and Dave agreed to making it non points for this year.
Daves hinting at some big paying races for next year? Could this be one of them??????

At least ten sprint car races, That to me is worth the price of admission. Expecially when many are running three or four sprint races a night.

See you there! Or not!

Where did I say I wouldn't be there?I support USAC , Lawrenceburg and ALL other tracks they run. Everything you said could be accomplished without any sanction for this one race. As much as I like USAC and the Burg,I don't see how sanctioning this as a "Special Event" helps either?

Doesn't anyone find any irony in the fact that USAC is having a 10 grand to win race against the TnT DEAL and USEING THEIR FORMAT

See ya at the BURG

Since this is a non points race is there still an age rule? We would love to come and run the Dick Gaines Classic.

Thanks for the reply Dave. I am glad that you have stepped up to the plate to make this a big event. Dick Gaines is one of the biggest legends of our sport and he deserves this type of event. Also great move on the format best system going.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!
Wouldn't it be nice if all of the cars could be in the same place at one time, then next week do it again at the other track! Wait, that would require a National series....

Wishing EVERYONE safe and competitive racing wherever they choose to compete.
