Anyone besides me going to make the run . I figure if the champ car race goes right, I'll make the Burg by 8:30, I hope.

I may consider the run to Lawrenceburg. Will see! I'm going to spending time with a guy who's been to
to every race since 1946. This will be his 64th straight year at Springfield!

Did either of you gentlemen make it to the Burg and not get a speeding ticket

I saw racephoto1 at the burg last night and he indeed made from Bloomington to Springfield to The Burg for all the features. He didn't mention any speeding tickets but was eager to sleep in a bed when he got to the house.

No tickets and it was exactly 8:30 when I got there. I drove 71 through Illinios, and 77 through Indiana. The cops never even looked at me. Long day, great racing. Burg was spectacular.

Now thats dedication. Good job!
