Thanks, Dale, for posting your memories and photos. We know you were very close. You, his family and friends are in our constant prayers, as well as Blake, who is recovering himself from a BMX accident.

Robert will always be a special part of TQ history and missed greatly.

I'll always remember the 71 mini sprint. Kind of a main stay in mini sprint racing for the past decade. RIP Bob

RIP Bob, one of a kind, a great guy, and somebody who always stood on the gas. He's someone who will not be forgotten.

Im truly speechless. I found out about this Sunday morning. I had just gotten into the truck to come home from Chicago after putting another friend to rest on Friday afternoon.

Bob and Robert both were one of a kind. True racers at heart, and even better friends.

I miss them both dearly.

See you on the other side boys.

Robert D. "Nick" Nichols Jr., 46, Bethel Village
Robert D. "Nick" Nichols Jr., 46, of Falcon Drive in Bethel Village, died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2009 as the result of a motorcycle accident in Bartholomew County.QUOTE]

Somewhere in heaven there is one hell of a race going on! Robert lived his life full throttle. No matter what he was doing, he gave it his all. Robert did everything his way. I too will miss him, but take comfort in knowing that he died doing one of the things he loved doing.

Robert, I will see you when I see you. Until then, tell the gang upstairs I said hello.

I too am sorry for the loss of Robert. He will be missed. We will be praying for comfort, peace and understanding for his family and friends. I wanted to share this scripture
I pray it will put your minds at rest.
Proverbs 20:24
Man's steps are ordained by the Lord, how then can man understand His ways.

...and if it should all fall apart my we accept God that You are still in control.
