I think Dave will switch it to wings every week. Just joking! this is some very intriging statments from the best promoter in the tri state area. I cant wait to see whats on tap next year and alot of great racing left this year. I think the best of Lawrenceburg in 2009 is coming up in the next couple months. Get out and support the burg!

I believe Dave is on the right track, be careful not to have so many classes of cars that hte evening turns into morning before you finish.

Hey John, one would presume that the promoter you mentioned in this link,http://www.4m.net/showthread.php?t=123055 is not one of your favorites?

Yeah you could say that....but the feeling is mutual...him and D.A came from the same mold...It was a bad week last week for me and I should have kept my mouth shut but I couldn't...

But this post shows what a real promoter is willing to do and I applaud him for it!!!!!!!!!!!!

after reading for a while over on 4m.net it might be safe to assume it might have something to do with latemodels being adding to the weekly program. I for one would rather see a much larger payout in all classes that currently support the track and have a really good points fund to encourage more drivers to run. and not just a larger payout out on the top, but all they way though the field. I run demolitions derbies all the time and the promoters who pay more deep in the field are the ones with better shows and a better car count. Lets face it alot of guys know whether they are capable of finishing in the top 5 week in and week out. If you are not one of those guys you are racing and putting on a show for what $100 most nights. I say spread the money out though the field more and you will have a much better show. I know it works that way in derbies why should racing be any different.

No its not about the Late Models. We have plenty of Great Late Models shows already and one of them is a $50,000 to win show(DTWC) This news is for the sprints!!
Stay tuned!! Dave
