Looking at the transponder data, it looks like Bland, Hagen, and Whitt must have been going at it pretty good for 8th if only .337 seconds separated the three drivers at the checkers.
8 Jeff Bland 12x 30 -05.341 15.281 14.669 9 Darren Hagen 67 30 -05.384 15.154 14.705 10 Cole Whitt 67k 30 -05.678 15.224 14.718 |

My first race since the Indy 500 and it was a barn burner. Those first two guys (Darland & Clauson) are REAL GENTLEMEN and raced each other HARD AND CLEAN.
![]() ![]() I hope everybody is OK after some of those wild rides last night. Where was Brad Sweet and the Kahne team last night? And lastly, thanks Dave Rudisell for having the police working the stop lights on the way out. ![]()

How bout Kevin Thomas, Jr makin his first usac race in convincing fashion. He had a torsion stop come off the right front, stuck one on and got up to 13th when he got some of the turn 4 wall. His dad said wasn't enough time to set it back up, just stuck it on and sent him back out. Interesting to see what he could do when it doesn't come off.
