I think they will race.... I don't think the rain happening now is that bad... should be gone in a few hours... Of course I have been wrong before...

Radar estimates are showing less than 3 tenths of an inch right now for VCS. Sun needs to come out, and that will definitely improve things No idea what the powers that be are thinking right now.

However...there are some cells to the Northwest that are moving that way, but they don't appear to be race cancellers at this time.

I just talked to RicK Williams, Sr. They are at the Track. He said it is raining now and has been raining. They, Track Personnel, told him they would wait until 2:00 or 3:00 their time, which is CST to make a decision. According to Rick, he couldn't get down into the Pit Area right now if he had to. Lots of water. Just quoting and passing on folks. I am not a Meteorologist. I hope we race tonight like everyone else. Thanks

Looks like one more cell is passing over VCS now. It's clearing 20 miles West of VCS. I know this because thats where I live. Hard to say what will happen. Up to the officials

Hope they get it in without going into overtime tonight !

Looks like little cells keep popping up but they will pass.

The Sun is popping out 20 miles west of VCS With the rain watering the track already...this should make for a great track that won't lock down tonight!
