First Financial Bank Indiana Sprint Week
presented by 500 Express
USAC National Sprint Cars

This show is during the Vigo County Fair. There is a parking fee charged if you arrive after 4 pm (3 dollars). This will be a great show to bring the family, on top of the show, there will be the midway amusements at the fair. Plenty fo food booths will be open also.

Hopefully we will get a good month of occassional rain and not every single freaking day rain and the tunnel will be open.

With no fireworks, a delay for sundown and a parking fee, Dyno Don will blow a head gasket. Maybe we can get him an elephant ear and some cotton candy to help sooth his poor nerves for sprint week.

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante

Forgot to mention. As of today, tunnel had about a foot of water in it, but there were no pumps. This is a good sign, as they usually are pumping for a week or two before. I imagine it will take only a couple hours of pumping to clear it. As for keeping it clear...I don't know.

Pump the water onto the track. The last four times I have been there that place has been a dust bowl.

It was not this bad in the late 70' and early 80's when THEY RACED IN THE DAY TIME
