Tell John that if the officials screwed up the line up. he has a right to be upset... But he does not have the right to aim his moving race car at an official, he does not have the right to stop on the front straight and then show disrespect to the fans and delay ths show while he pitches his fit, or do any of the other things that John and his dad are alleged to have done.
Side? I don't think that John has a side here, unless it's the wrong side! You need to make sure that he understands that he needs to apologize to a bunch of folks, starting with the fans.....and he should not be surprised if his actions get him suspended, OR EVEN BANNED FOR LIFE.
But please. don't let John off the hook - if his explanantion and apology seem weak, tell him - and hold him accountable! He wrote this check with his actions, so he should be prepared to cash it -in full!
Well folks here's your chance to speak up or shut up....www.jackslash.com tuesday night...call in live chat.....www.jackslash.com! Posted via Mobile Device
I agree why is he calling in he is way out of bounds on this one no matter how upset you are you need to show a little more respect for you self and all the fans.
I'll be traveling so I can't call in but I have a couple of questions that might be interesting to ask. The answers might be revealing as to contrition
1. If he switched positions with the person(s) who are going to rule on his punishment, what punishment (if any) does he think he should give himself?
2. Ask him if he knows the name Fred Brownfield?
3. Ask him if he knows what the National Sprint Tour was? If so, ask him why the tour isn't around anymore. If not, clue him in.
4. Ask him if he understands that if he ever does something even loosely approximating pointing his car at someone and for whatever reason they are run over and killed, that he has now made the legal leap from possible manslaughter to murder 2? It's called prior intent.
