It was a very good race tonight. Tough break for Holtsclaw, but congrats to Stanbrough coming all the way from 16th. Very nice!
I always love going to Paragon, but did anybody else get double parked like I did tonight in the parking lot? I think half the cars out there were at least double or triple parked. Lots of cars getting backed into by others trying to get out. What a mess! Luckily I was only boxed in for about 10 minutes before I could move. Many others may have had to wait until the last feature was over.

A great night of racing in all divisions at Paragon tonight. It was a pleasure to watch Stanbrough work his way to the front from his 16th starting position. Congratulations to Brady Short on his first KISS championship. Also a nice run for Jeff Bland Jr. to finish 6th after starting 17th. I also thought that Bryan Clauson gave Jeff Walker's car a good run as well this evening.
No trouble for us in the parking lot. Got right out and made it home in good time. However, did anyone else have trouble hearing the PA announcer this evening? It seemed to me that the sound was very muffled and I couldn't understand anything they were saying. I realize I am getting old, but I think they need some help with the PA system.

I still think this is a really neat old track and I enjoy watching a good racing program there.

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante

I also thought it was a good race. The fact that Holtsclaw didn't just lay down when BC got around him the first time, battled to get the lead back and was so tough for Bryan to pass the last time provided much of the races early to middle stage action. Ultimately it was a tough break for Danny, just being in the wrong place at the wrong time, that ended his night. While all of this was going on, the 53 car was charging through the field like one of this week's storms, rumbling across the Hoosier state. As obvious as it was what his ultimate destination would be, there wasn't a damn thing anybody could do to stop it from happening. He was a force of nature, tonight. This year's Indiana Midget Week champion, in one of the fastest and best wrenched rides anywhere, couldn't stop him. Neither could the soon to be crowned 2009 King of Indiana Sprint Series champion, who has been racking up wins at tracks all over the state, as of late. It was an impressive performance at perhaps the best track backdrop and setting, here in sprint racing's number one state.
And congrats to Brady for adding the KISS title to his already stellar year.
