I'm pretty sure thats where NY John (Sasquatch), Dale, Brenda, Cliff, Freddy and Steve will go.

I was only at Macon once and the track was in bad shape, But I'd go back there in a heartbeat. Cool little joint.
Right now they are staged at gas city

Just got an email from USAC, N. Vernon Rained out, rescheduled for Aug. 14th. See below

" Rain and wet grounds have forced postponement of tonight’s USAC Mopar National Midget and Midwest Ford Focus Midget “doubleheader” at Twin Cities Raceway Park in North Vernon, Ind. The program has been rescheduled for Friday night, August 14.

Heavy overnight rains totaling nearly four inches in southern Indiana have left the facility un-raceable, with three feet of water in the infield and extremely saturated parking and pit areas.

“We obviously are disappointed that weather has intervened,” said USAC Competition Director Jason McCord. “We are, however, pleased that we have been able to reschedule for August 14, the night before the “Joe James/Pat O’Connor Classic” Sprint car race at Salem (Ind.) Speedway. This will give the race fans a signature weekend of USAC racing.”

“Indiana Midget Week,” which opened last night at Gas City I-69 Speedway, continues Friday at Bloomington Speedway and Saturday at Lawrenceburg Speedway and will conclude with the crowing of the 2009 champion Sunday night at Kokomo Speedway."

I really wanted to support Illinois Sprint Week and said I would have went to every one of them, had they not scheduled it the same week as Indiana Midget Week. Looks like I'm Jacksonville bound.

Sure. Why the hell not. That's my motto.

PM me your cell number. That way, if Hoover's not available, I'll have someone to post the results.

No thanks. I want to go to that track sometime, but not on a night when three NASCAR drivers (Stewart, Schrader and Martin) are making an appearance at a 1/5 mile track. It'll be like The Who concert in Cincinnati.
