I saw on Gas Cities web site, that SR 22 is closed at I-69.

I am staying at the Super 8. Do any of the locals know a short way to the track, besides what is posted on the web site?

Me, too. Maybe we should change our booking to someplace West of I69?

I wonder if it's possible to walk through the intersection? It's only about a mile to the track.

It continually amazes me that most state highway departments don't seem to realize that their primary job is to keep traffic moving. Everything else should be secondary. It certainly should be possible to keep one lane open at all times. In my neighborhood, we just had a bridge (maybe 100 feet long) over a tidal creek closed for over a year while they rebuilt it. Another bridge might be closed for THREE YEARS, in spite of the fact that the last time they rebuilt it, it was closed for less than two weeks.
