Hoover says that it wasn't so much a slide job, as it looked like Jon got a wheel over the ledge on the last lap and Bland got under him. That's just another person's perspective, though.

Actually Boat had kinda checked out until Wimmenhauer got over the hump on the backstretch and caused a yellow with 8 to go. Stanbrough powered around Bland and Boat and you just knew he was gonna win. Going into the last turn he was in the middle of the track and just drifted up to the koosh maybe even hanging the RR over the edge. Bland dipped underneath and out dragged him to the line. You dont see Stanbrough give one up like that very often. Nice runs by Deckard and Hupp. I think Hupp was in the top 5 for the whole race and was as high as 3rd until he bobbled and lost a couple spots. It wasnt a full moon but it seemed like it. The flagman threw the yellow flag when he should have thrown the white in the 1st heat but didnt turn the light to yellow then threw the white and checkered to end the race on the next lap Cramer confronted Bilbee after they both ended up on the concrete in the 3rd heat, a birdie told me there was another more physical conversation afterwards in the pits. Also a sheriff's car came into the pits lights flashing to break up a fight in the Super Stock pits. Quite a night at the races!

Wonder who that birdie was? There were more issues in the pits with the two you mentioned above. If I were one of the drivers I would be very very thankful that I didn't have to spend the night somewhere in downtown Bloomington.
He had a "taxi" waiting to give him a ride to 301 N College, no charge for the ride.He won't be back to S Fairfax Rd for quite some time.Modified pits there some issues also.Calender says it wasn't a full moon, but I have to wonder.
Off to TSS later today:29
