dave, i think what a lot of people are saying is that with some of the highest car counts in the country in the mod class why would you cut them out at all. there are some sad faces in the pits about it. i like variety but this is what i'm hearing....

Dave, I think you are doing a good job at the track and I like the way you have up-graded the track, but my only complaint is the occasional late hour that the races run. I live one hour and 25 minutes away and am there almost every week,so I like to see the races keep moving instead of taking long breaks before the features.Keep up the good work. Dave

Smith19, I guess this was my point you did a good job of summing it up. I guess at the end of the day we are fortunate to be able to enjoy racing every saturday at a premiere dirt track. THANKS DAVE and CREW!!

Do they have a time limit at The 'Burg for support classes? If they do not they should, this would let the show end at a decent hour.

I remember back in the day when Gregg Stabb ran the place, he had a time limit on supports series when USAC, All-Stars or WoO ran. It really sped up the show. Now granted there were a couple of nights when the E-Mods never saw a checkered flag, because of their constant yellows, but the people that were there to see the main attraction were very happy.

C'mon Chris why would you put a time limit on your feature class that most of your fans came to see. Thats a good way to end up with empty grandstands the next week. Use your head.

Right on Jon, if there were a time limit I wouldn't return. Dave

This past week was the first time I have watched in depth the Mini's. I decided to do them and TQs for LIVE last week just to mix it up. All in all a good night for them. It was entertaining..... if the race for the lead got long then go back deeper and there was usually a battle going on. Nice series.... and hey if we have Sprint car graduates come out of there, that's fine by me!

Since the discussion of Mods was brought up...... does anyone find it interesting that Brady Short and Jeff Bland Jr's success hasn't had more mod drivers come along? I know there are a few who have.... Jesse Cramer comes to mind. Who are some of the others? Miles? Humphrey? Perry?

We do have time limits at Lawrenceburg.

I might be wrong but I thought the only night that ran late was the "Sprints, Sprints & More Sprints Night."
Qualifying the MASS sprints is what started us out behind (we didn't start the heats until 7:49).

The time stamps on the last class of the night from my racing format program:

April 18th - mini sprints - 11:40 pm

April 25th - pure stocks - 10:40 pm (sprints 9:43 PM)

May 2nd - mini sprints - 10:41 pm (sprints 9:48 pm)

May 9th - mini sprints - 12:48 am (MASS sprints 10:05 pm)

May 23rd - TQ's - don't have time - (KISS sprints 9:58 pm)

(The time stamp is when I closed or saved it for the last time. The races could have been done sooner.)

Ok, using that logic. The next time I see a Sprint Car feature with multiple reds or yellows, its quite alright if it runs for 25 to 30 minutes?
