Looks to be a pretty stout field of cars... one of the better shows of the year... anybody heading west?? Also -- does anybody know what car Cole Whitt is driving?? ... Spridge?

Pretty sure that is not an accurate entry list. Not sure how they compiled it.

Rustin, Cole is still driving for Keith Kunz, now sporting the #1 after winning last year's championship.

10-4 on Cole Whitt's ride. I got the pre-entries from Knoxville's website, which was updated by Bill W... so I guess I just assumed it was accurate. Considering who has shown up in the past, it doesn't look too far off. Do you know something I don't??

Just glancing over it, you can count out Taylor, Harper, Windom, Clauson, and Altig. Quite a few others on there I can't imagine being there. It looks like they just put together a list of cars who have run at Knoxville in the past or raced out West with USAC this year...

Some other things that don't look right with that list.

They have Michael Pickens entered in a Hans Lein car AFAIK all of his stuff was sold. If Hans still does have a car he has yet to bring it out in 2009.

Mike Hess is listed as #4 (a car that doesn't exist anymore). If he got his motor fixed, I think he is going in the family #51.

David Gough hasn't been out all season and the #14 car (now #25) is being driven by Courtney Erfurth. I'm sure she's not going.

Hard to believe Kody Swanson will be there in the #19...that was last year's ride; his website shows him to be elsewhere on the 30th.

Tim Noble is racing stock cars this year.

If Matt Smith shows it will be in #13.

Has Buddy Lowther ever run dirt?

Brady Bacon in the 99? (Unless they mean Team Telstar's 99)

I guess we'll know more tomorrow about who is really going to be there.
