Effective August 1st 2009, Lawrenceburg Chevrolet Sprint car division will have a right rear tire rule. Only tires accepted will be the American Racer MC-3 or the Hoosier Tire DT-3. This decision was made by the drivers in a vote held on May 9th, 2009.

I applaud you for allowing freedom to choose what brand a racer wants to. I know it may be hard not to but don't give in to the "monopoly" with this situation. Nothing like a little brand competition if you ask me. Also I went to the "new" Lawrenceburg sat. night, great job on the facility.

I don't think most racers are dead set against tire rules in and of themselves, but rather, it's the 'not having any choice at all' part. This way, there is a choice. Not so bad.
