I personally would LOVE to see JJ get this opportunity. I would also hope he could go out and put the car in the show EVERY week!!!

I truly feel for Jeremy. My personal thoughts are that he's speaking the truth, and that he's caught up in a Kobayashi Maru. It's now up to him to best the Klingons which is somehow appropriate considering this is NASCAR, huh?. (Good movie by the way).
Regarding the few articles that I've read commenting about NASCAR not being specific enough about the banned counter drugs and the acceptable (if any) max levels, they are opening themselves up to TONS of legal issues. I hope that this at least establishes a better game plan for testing and evaluating the drivers.
That being said, I'm excited that JJ is back in the seat. He's too good of a guy and way too talented of a driver to be sitting around on weekends watching others race.
With very mixed feelings, I hope that Jeremy's "indefinate suspension" takes a few weeks to get settled. It should give JJ enough time to re-expose his talents for those owners currently evaluating silly season changes.
This guy says give it a great ride this weekend JJ. I'm all behind you and Jeremy.

I totally agree with you on that, David. I also find it hard to believe, but not just because of his age, etc. First, he's been out of the sport for a few years, so why come back and throw it all away. Second, why invest all of the money into creating your own team, Mayfield Motorsports, or whatever it's called. I just don't see someone making all of this effort earlier this year and four or five months later he's tossing it in the trash. Granted, I could be thinking too much, but until there's proof, I'm leaning towards Jeremy's side.
Either way, it's awesome to hear J.J.'s name in NASCAR again!
