They sure look cool. Is there a function (stronger and/or lighter) to the design, or is it just that they look cool.

Eric,
They are substantially stronger than a standard radius rod & weigh about the same. On top of that, they look awesome! Better buy these to stand out from everyone else in the crowd! ;-)
