When you stop to think about the qualifying times at Bloomington last nite where Brady Bacon set a new track record with a time of 10.854 seconds and Hunter Schuerenberg timed in 20th place at 11.209 seconds that leaves a spread of .355 seconds between the two. That's a remarkable feat for those drivers, crews and race cars to qualify within that span of time. Considering it takes the average person less than .400 seconds to blink his eyes ! And sure doesn't hurt to have a well prepared track to qualify on either.

I believe Shane Cottle's 10.8 was a little faster than Bacon's. It was a few years ago. Does anyone have record of the exact time?

54 cars within one second of each other during qualifying at the kings royal. The parody of the sport these days is with a wing or without is amazing.
