Great pix!! A couple of these cars look familiar. Each February in Zephyrhills, Florida a group of old timers bring everything from old champ cars to midgets to stock cars to jalopies to show and run on a dirt track hacked out of a field as part of a car parts/flea market operation. I grew up watching midgets and sprint cars with the drivers head and shoulders a couple of feet above the roll bar. Dangerous profession back then. Just a lap belt, tee shirts, minimal head protection, bare hands, whatever shoes they wore to work. Seems like we would read of a driver being killed or maimed for life every weekend. Sure glad they have the protection available now. :thumb

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I also have a bunch to upload from the EMMR museum, but that will have to wait till I get back from Sandusky.
