Here's the video everyone's been wanting to see of Rico pulling Tim Kaeding from his car after a flip and catching fire at Trophy Cup.

SO >>>>Not only is the kid one hell of a race car driver he is a Hero.

He didn't think he just reacted to the events around him. We are lucky to have kids like that racing open wheel cars.

Will this make it to the main stream media??? Just part of the "Job Description">

Honest Dad himself

Agreed. Just adds to my reasons to like him.

Brad Daugherty from Fox said something during the Dan Wheldon tributes I thought very enlightening. He said "what separates race car drivers from all other types of athletes in the world is that a for him, basketball is what he did. For drivers, it's who they are."

I have always liked Rico and have always been impressed with him, both as a driver and a person. In all the times we raced with him or talked with him, never a big ego, no entitlement attitude, just a down to earth guy who loves to race.

Rico Abreu and Jonathan Allard should both be commended for their actions. Unfortunately, mainstream media nor ESPN or FOX Sports will say word one about this "good news" story on sprint car racing.
