FWIW, Wednesday at 11:20 AM, I am sitting 15 miles east of the track and it is pouring rain. Anybody know how it is at the track?

I am at the track and talked to Dave and he said " I am not cancelling this race". What a super nice guy he is, he gave my 4 yr old some Lawrenceburg sickers and passes to the beach waterpark and I just met him today. This track is absolutely awesome I cannot belive what they have done here, I cannot wait to see them run tonight.

Overcast and raining very, very lightly at 12:10 p.m. The only effect so far, a good one, is saving Dave some gas he would otherwise be burning in the water truck. :checkered:

Thanks, Fish. How about a couple of updates this afternoon for those of us still contributing to Social Security. I'm about an hour and a half away here at the office. Thanks.

No change at 1:15 p.m. That is, still overcast with light rain. .03" in the trusty rain gauge sofar. Here is the latest interactive weather radar shot from WLW-T, Channel 5 in Cincinnati:

www.wlwt.com/interactive-radar/index.html

And with that, I must be off......to meet Danny Burton at the track. :checkered:

I live about 15 minutes away and it rained real good at about 10:30, with just light rain/sprinkles since.
I took a drive down to the track at about 11:30, and it wasn't raining at all at the time, and everything (track included) looked great. Right now, I'm thinking we're going racin'.
