They called Butler off after a 10-15 minute shower which dropped maybe a .10 inch of rain. Didn't even get the road wet under the trees! Sun was back out after that.

Well, that's their call. Maybe they knew something we didn't. I do know that the updates on their website are few and far between and earlier in the day they had a posting on there something to the effect of if it rains out tonight the date will not be made up.
Too bad, too. It was the last night for points. They have one more night of sprints this upcoming Saturday, for whatever reason, and it is called Championship Night. I think they honor the champs in all classes. One thing I do know from past experience is that the car count is usually way down on that night. And to pour it on ever thicker, the Canadian Nationals at Ohsweken are that weekend, so that rules out any heavy hitting 360 cars showing up at Butler.
Looks like open sprints at Gas City and the Great Lakes Nationals up at Crystal with the MTS gang for me next weekend.
