Disappointing to say the least. Last years program was a very nice evening of racing and honoring some of the true greats of the past. We were looking forward to another great evening at IRP this year.
How can a professional racing organization continue to survive with such terrible leadership in place. Car owners, drivers, crews, fans who traveled to IRP and then were left standing in good weather wondering what happened? Your permier division, which is on life support anyway, now endures yet another fiasco. It will be interesting to see if this decision has any lingering carry over to Thursday night and beyond. The more I want this series to not only survive but to flourish, yet another shot in the murphys.
Nuff said.

I wonder if some $$$$ exchanged hands between the Speedway and IRP/USAC so that the Speedway could keep what few fans were there, on the grounds until the shootout???? ... Just wondering
Thought it was interesting that on Saturday afternoon at IMS, a plane was towing a banner promoting the Silver Crown race at IRP that evening. About the time of the last fly over, Dave Calabro was announcing that the race at IRP was cancelled. I wonder how much that PR cost to dump down the drain.
