Around 2 hours ago, I noticed Levi Jones (@levijones20) sent a tweet out to USAC (@USAClive) that read as follows; "2012 was fun! @USAClive"
In my opinion, and everyone has their own, this sounds like he is saying he is done racing for the year with USAC. I'm not making assumptions, so that's why I'm asking everyone. What is your take on this "comment"? We have already heard everyone's side of things on the other thread about the wreck, so no reason to repeat it. I was there, sitting about 6 rows up near turn 1 in the main grandstands. Everything happened right in front of me, so no need to explain. I'm just asking for everyone's opinion on this tweet and if anyone has heard anything. Thanks!!!!! Hope the rain holds off for THAT on Saturday!!!

If our assumption is right and if he's gonna be that big of a baby about it who needs him. JMO Used to be one of my favorites and now he has lost all respect from me.
When Ballou got put on probation you didnt see him cry and quit....

There no doubt in my mind that when someone called Kdog called Levi a baby that it hurt his feelings! There is also no doubt in my mind that kdog does not have the stones to say that to Levi face to face!
The real problem here is that it is the common nature of people to be jealous of those who are the haves as they have spent their life without!
Levi is a 5 time USAC Champion, this did not happen by accident, this did not happen by Levi being involved in very many altercations on track. To dock 25 pts. to someone that has few priors over an extended amount of time seems harsh!

I wasn't even in the state of Indiana when all this took place but these are open wheel cars and they do wreck. It's going to happen when you have a car with an obnoxious power-to-weight ratio and a monster truck RR. I agree that open wheel cars are dangerous and shouldn't be used maliciously but c'mon. As for Levi, I think he's a good dude. Again I wasn't there but is there a chance that something happened prior to "the wreck" that could've instigated this? Remember it's not Levi Jones Racing. It's Tony Stewart Racing. I'm betting none of this is even Levi's decision IF they do hang it up for the year. I think we all know Tony doesn't take punishment very well. I also want to say that Stanbrough is one of the greatest guys I've ever met and wish nothing but the best for him as well as Robert but Levi has never struck me as a guy to dump somebody. He ran within inches of Clauson at Gas City most of the feature without incident

When did I ever say Levi wasnt good? I respect the fact that he has 5 championships and is one of the greatest sprint car racers of all time. He USED to be one of my favorites until this incident.
I am in no way jealous of Levi. I race micro sprints and am content where I am right now sir. When I graduate pharmacy school in 2 years I will have a PharmD. Ive wanted to be a pharmacist since 8th grade and will be realizing one of my dreams. When that happens I will have plenty of $$$ to go midget or sprint car racing on the level that I would like. So jealousy isnt the issue at all. The issue is RIGHT vs. WRONG.
So your telling me that Ballou should have been on probation for a questionable slide job but its ok for Levi to not have anything happen to him for potentially seriously injuring or killing 2 drivers? Come on man lets be real. USAC is for sure messed up but I have to agree with them on this one. To me he got off easy JMO

Really, you're going to get on this thread and make fun of someone's username? Extended amount of time? Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he just get in trouble at Lawrenceburg?? Get a WOO ride? Those boys will rip him to shreds.
Heard Tony parked the midgets for the season, think he would park the sprint team to? I doubt it but he did comment today about needing to concentrate on the chase. Levi's points stay with him so he wouldn't quit. He would be in his own car or another car.
