Same thing will happen in May if he gets a ride at IMS. He would probably have to miss the Hoosier 100 and Night before the 500 on the weekend of Indy and maybe 1 or 2 others on qual weekends. Worth it though dont you think?

If you are talking the overall National Champ title, they take your best 25 finishes over the whole season in all 3 divisions. So if that finish turned out to not be one of the best 25, then missing it wouldn't matter. The sprint car title itself is straight up so a missed race could hurt depending on what the finish might have been. He'll probably have to miss a few others with the IndyCar deal.
