I'm traveling from PA to Indy for Indiana Midget week and was wondering if someone could recommend a reasonably priced hotel. Not looking for a flea bag hotel, but something clean. Thanks.

The tracks are spread out all over the state, so I recommend the following:

June 13 - Gas City, IN - Best Western, 4936 Kaybee Dr, Gas City, IN (765) 998-2331

June 14 - Putnamville, IN - Holiday Inn Express, 1017 N Main St, Cloverdale, IN (765) 795-5050

June 15 - Bloomington, IN - Motel 6, 1800 N Walnut St, Bloomington, IN (812) 332-0820

June 16 - Lawrenceburg, IN - Riverside Inn, 515 E Eads Pkwy, Lawrenceburg, IN (877) 514-6820

June 17 - Kokomo, IN - There are all kinds of hotels in Kokomo, however I never stay there. I'm so amped after Kokomo's incredible racing I drive back to Indy's westside so I'm close to the airport for the flight home the next morning. If you do the same, I suggest the Microtel Inn, 5815 Rockville Rd, Indianapolis, IN (317) 247-9703. Nice place, real close to airport.

If you want to stay in the city, some friends recommend the Red Roof Inn North.

Plainfield would also be a good option. just west of Indy on I70. Has decent places to eat at even a White Castle and Dennys for 24/7 food. not too far of a drive from putnamville and bloomington.

Ditto on this recommendation. Stayed 3 nights here last week for IMIS, total was $186.....their beds are awesome. Easy on and easy off to get to the track, and plenty of rig parking.

Make friends in Indiana with the locals buy a tent and stay for free. Yes people will actually invite you to there homes. Another reason why I enjoy traveling to that area of the country. It's better then the people that live around the Northeast.
