I want to congradulate 13 yr. old Sheldon Creed on his first ever mini sprint victory at Brownstown Tues. night. Starting from the tail of the field he showed everyone a clinic on how to wheel a racecar. This race was his sixth time ever in mini sprint & only his second time non-wing. Sheldon is a San Diegan transplant here to the Hoosier state for the month of July here to gain some valuable seat time before heading back to the Golden state. Sprint Mart is proud to have the Creed's working under our banner & hope this is one of many wins to come. Once again, great job Sheldon!

Congrats to Doug Jones for running all 20 laps of that race instead of 17 and getting the winners purse.

Sheldon did do one hell of a job driving last night. In fact he was so good the scorers got all confused, it was a confusing night with rain moving in fast and the track trying to get the show over as soon as they could. Had Sheldon started on time he would have won running away. He seems to be a good kid and we wish him well in the future, we are looking forward to racing with him the rest of July. He is getting some excelent open wheel experiance and running against some best minisprint drivers in the country.

In order to get the races underway the track was not as forgiving about showing up late for the line up as usual. Sheldon and Dick Gains were late for the push off and the race started without them. There was a wreck on the third lap and in order for them to get paid for the race the track decided to let them start on the tail and race. Sheldon was so good at coming up through the field I guess the scorers lost track of the laps and awarded him the win. He told Bill May he started late he got the trophy we took the money. He a good kid and I'll bet a great racer in the future. He was driving a rocket ship last night.

I heard a track SNAFU kept the kid from a victory......sounds like an impressive young driver. We'll be at Brownstown tomorrow evening, look forward to watching him run.
