I have noticed alot of work being done to the track at LPS. I was wondering how the track was during the practice?

The track was a little rough but it has new dirt on it and a horrible winter for the new dirt to settle.

Track was rough is spots and needed more water. Look for the Spiker Crew to work hard on the track this week with the grader and more.

Another change at the track is the Pit Tower is now in the corner near the track where you come off the track.

The pit stand has been moved to the hill outside of turn 4 for a great view of the track.

That is what test and tune is for. The track and the cars.

I'm going to give the LPS crew an "Incomplete" on the track. Due to the fact it was practice, new dirt, bad winter, etc. It was VERY rough and dry. Let's just say they have ALOT of work to do before next Saturday. With that being said, I am confident they will work their tails off to get it fixed and ready for Saturday night. If not, there will be alot of torn up race cars!

Track was fine, it would be boring if it was perfect every time. It was daytime and very windy, so therefore it was what you would expect it to be. Dry and slick with a rough patch through the middle. They will work at it till it is good. Cant wait for saturday night! And a cheers to hopefully he end of that damn hole high in turn one!
