Bell Helmets Announces STARS Contingency Sponsorship Program
The Bell Racing USA LLC, the world’s premier auto racing Helmet Company, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Short Track Auto Racing Series, LLC to become a contingency sponsor for the series.
Bell Racing USA will provide $150.00 “4-Safety” product certificates to the 4th place finisher of each STARS feature event during the 2011 season. In addition to product certificates, Bell Racing will award a free helmet to the series rookie of the year at the conclusion of the 2011 season.
“We are honored to be involved with STARS and help drivers and race teams who are passionate about and committed to short track racing. Our company founder, Roy Richter, was a car builder who built sprint cars and midgets in the 1940’s and 1950’s prior to establishing Bell Helmets. He built the first auto racing helmet primarily to help protect his customers and fellow racers who were being injured due to inadequate head protection. Supporting short track racing is part of Bell’s DNA.”
