Press Release: Kidsprint Racing Series 1/27/2011
Thanks to everyone for all their support, sponsorship, and help so far for the 2011 season. The season is off to a great start with the first All-Star Touring race scheduled with the Southwest Series on April 9 at the Diamond Park Speedway in Nashville, AR paying $700.00 to win to kick off the season. Then on April 29 the Midwest All-Star Traveling Series will be at Bakersfield Raceway in Linton, IN to kick off their season opener. We also wanted to express that the Midwest & Southwest All-Star Traveling series is the only races utilizing both the stock appearing and blueprinted engines together for their races, if a promoter only wants a All-Star race with the blueprinted engine then we will note the schedule at that time, all other weekly tracks/races will only run the blueprinted engine as their weekly program if they are signed up as a Kidsprint member track. Everyone get their JR Sprints ready to race and chase the 2011 POINTS!!!!! check out www.kidsprintracing.com for more details.

On another note they have been concern over the cost of the blueprinted engine versus the stock appearing engine so I wanted to touch on that a bit. A blueprinted engine is costing right at $1300-$1500.00 from most builders. That is new ready to race. A stock appearing engine on average is $1600-$2200.00 from most builders (yes you can take it as far as u want) but last year a team won 7 out of 9 shows with a stock appearing engine that they had $1873.00 in. Another advantage to the stock appearing engine over a blueprint one is you will not be torn down for tech or protested each week and have the $300.00 cost to put the engine back together. Now the advantage to the blueprinted engine is that it is a great weekly engine to run at your local track as long as the track has a tech person to assure everyone is on the same level, it is also a more economical way to get into the sport. I hope to see each and everyone out the year at the tracks and once again THANKS to the many sponsors that has stepped forward to make this 2011 season a success!!!!!

Thanks
