Coleman Gulick Racing is currently accepting Resume’s for our Chief Mechanic/Crew Chief Position in 2011. Our current intentions are to run the 2011 USAC National Sprint Car Schedule, Dirt only and other Local Shows in Indiana. We will be working from a high profile race shop in Brownsburg so confidentiality is a must, for both parties. Some interruptions in the Schedule may occur only if Coleman is required to compete in the ARCA or Indy Lights Series. However if that does occur, it is likely to be late season.

We will start the season with 2 complete DRC Sprint cars and all necessary supplies to help make this position productive and our on track performance successful. Selected candidate must be able to work closely with Coleman, therefore having experience with young drivers is preferred. Coleman will be highly involved in the week to week preparation so this position should not be overwhelming.

Candidate must have a very good working ethic, a proven track record (pardon the pun) and be accustomed to the rigors of 410 Indiana Racing. Obviously travel is involved. Experience in driving a large hauler is a plus but not a requirement. This is a Family owned operation so the ability to interact with multiple people is also important. Representing our Sponsors at a high level is also important so a professional attitude on and off the track is a must.

This position pays a weekly salary and most expenses are covered when traveling. To maintain confidentiality for both parties, we respectfully request all interested parties log onto www.colemangulick.com, click the “Contact CGR” link on the front page; attach your resume and any comments/requests as well. Your submission of a resume will be held in strictest confidence so don't be shy.. Please make sure you include Salary requirements with your resume, a phone number and an email address.

Thank you.

I would think that Kevin Briscoe, if available, would be a great candidate for this position.

I also think Briscoe is highly recommended but its between you and your applicants.

Pete, It will be a honor once again to see The Iceman on the USAC and Indiana Scene and as always, It would be cool to see him at the Burg on off USAC nights!

Best wishes
Chuck
