mounting a KSE blue pump to motor plate

What is the correct way to mount the KSE HPD "Blue" power steering pump to a Maxim motor plate? KSE said to use 2 or 3 of the 1/4" holes in the pump mounting flange that line up with the 1/4" holes in the motor plate. The Maxim motor plate only has 5/16 holes 4 at the top and 4 at the bottom of the cam opening. These holes will line up with the 2 bolts that hold the flange to the pump so I assume I use these but how?
Also what lenght should the pressure line be from the pump to gear? |

Give Scott Benic a call he can tell you for sure. Josh said he uses two allans for the pump, the length of the hose really does not matter as long as it is not in the way or pinched off in any way.

Thanks Jerry and ACP.
I called Benic's and talked to Brad. Simply drill out the 5/16 threads in the adapter plate (adapter becomes a spacer) and use longer 5/16 allen head bolts. |
