Happy Birthday to my favorite professional sprint car mechanic ... Dave Hurst . Dad spent his 73rd birthday sandblasting a sprint car frame so he can paint it tomorrow . I would appreciate all who ever wheeled one of his machines to chime in. Whether it was a feature win or a tail wagger my Dad had fun.

I know Mark Cummins drove for Dave Hurst several times thru the years, I went with him a few times when he drove for ya all. There is a picture in the Cummins' shop of Mark in the 9T, sometime in the early 90's. Happy Birthday Dave!!

Dave is not only a great racer but has been a great mentor to me in so many ways. He has fixed has fixed half of the stuff in my house and told me how to fix the rest. It seems like every week I have a question and go over to Dave's to get an answer. I am so proud to to be able to call the whole Hurst Team my friends. Dave has always took time to be a family man and I am so glad that he is doing exactly what he wants to do on his birthday.
