Both are down there driving Modifieds at East Bay this week. A so-so start for both. Bland qualified 36th quick out of 92 Modifieds, ran fifth in his heat race, and finished 18th in the 2nd B-Main.

Brady Short, a winner in both Modifieds and Non Winged sprints down at East Bay qualified 24th quick, placed 10th in his heat, and finished 7th in the first C-Main.

Good luck to the two tonight, hopefully some A-Main finishes are upcoming

Although I'm not the world's biggest modified fan, it's awfully cool to have two sprint car guys (one of which a track champion) running in a modified at some of the biggest shows. Best of luck.
