what tracks are racing non sprints in indiana and illinoise fri, 14 and sat. 15 thanks

I am assuming you meant Sprints not non sprints, there is a schedule posted by one of the board members here.

don't forget paragon, might be easier to say who ISN'T running them this weekend, it's so great to live this close to so many tracks running sprints weekly plus have a few more right over the line who run often.....

most of us on here only know sprints or winged sprints...lol Dave I love airplanes almost as much as race cars, I went into the Air force right out of high school in 1981, turned 18 in basic, went to fire training, then rescue and then signed up for pararescue before it was over with. When i go out i worked at a couple big city fire departments riding rescue/medic then decided to come back to indiana, had about a 9 month wait for the job i wanted so signed on for a year with the Confederate Air Force (The Ghost Squadron) as a liason setting up emergency services for each air show, was awesome, got to see so many great planes flying and do alot of crazy fun things, lol, things the FAA won't allow now days. Had been thinking about a plane pic for my sig and decided to use that one. One day I'll introduce myself at the Burg and tell you a couple stories. Good luck getting a decent fly over, they are strict and considering your location probally won't allow a very low level flight.

Cool, is all i can say, i use to go to the Dayton Air Show for years, i was always facinated with planes!! As far as a fly over, i tried the past two years with no success.....Nascar has no problems getting them!

NASCAR has a bit more pull, and military flyovers are a bit different deal also PLUS there's kind of a political connection in NASCAR getting them. You could probally get a fly over with an old warbird if you offer to pay the fuel but those suckers love to drink. I would think given your location that maybe an air reserve or air guard unit could do a fly over as part of a training mission. try your congressman or state rep. Go to an airshow like Mt. Comfort and hit one of the owners up, there's a ton of guys who fly trainers and liason craft that could do you a decent show. Dave, Yeah NASCAR has no problems but the Reds, Bengals, Colts and almost any major team in sports with an outdoor or semi-outdoor stadium does it. There are rules but i would think you could get it done. If i can ask, who did you talk to and what was their answer? I might be able to help ya.

Dave they had a b-52 flyover at I-55 in pevely,mo and it was nice to see one in the air plus the engines were running great.Bet the section A crowd could also make some real nice paper airplanes to fly there to.
